Zach Hirsch is an award-winning journalist based in Brooklyn, NY. He is a senior producer at Click Here, a tech news podcast hosted by former NPR correspondent Dina Temple-Raston.
Last year he co-hosted If All Else Fails, a limited series about far-right groups in upstate New York. After its release, the podcast was recommended by NPR, WNYC, and The New Yorker. The series received two regional Edward R. Murrow awards, a Signal award, and a Webby nomination. A previous reporting project covering Rep. Elise Stefanik was recognized with a national award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
Hirsch studied Cultural Anthropology and hosted his first radio show at the University of Vermont before attending the Transom Story Workshop, a residential audio program in Woods Hole, MA. From there he joined North Country Public Radio as a staff reporter-producer, covering politics, identity, and immigration stories for five years before moving to NYC.
